The second edition of Research InSightS LIVE 'Seeking Systemic Action for Refugees and Migrants' took place on 6 December 2021. Nine guests reflected on how systemic action for refugees and migrants can be achieved.
The COVID-19 pandemic, continued migration and recent developments in, for instance, Afghanistan and Belarus demonstrate the importance of engaging with this topic. Moreover, there is a clear need for action. How to protect refugees in camps, migrants on the move, or (undocumented) migrants closer to home?
During the event, academics of the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) and practitioners working in the field shed light on these urgent questions. Furthermore, they shared their ideas on migrant and refugee issues, their experiences and research insights.
