It is here, it's finally here!

This is a project that has been on the back burner the entire time I have been healing up to start making normal content again and it's been a focus to come back strong. If you follow the channel you know we have an interest in the Quiet Big Bore Rifles and this may be the biggest of them all. We asked Mark Serbu of Serbu Firearms to custom build this rifle to our specs and he liked it so much it has been designated the "Serbu BFG-50 Mk II" and part of their normal production.

Our build was based on running subsonic 50 BMG Ammo for a quiet delivery, while still packing much more punch than a typical AR-15, by quite a large margin. Like making around 1800 ft/lbs of muzzle energy. We set it up with a Bowers VERS 50 Silencer and we're running Detroit Ammunition's 50 BMG Subsonic 750 Gr A-Max ammo. The optics we're starting with is a Commander NV400, with an onboard range finder & 4K video camera.

In the first 2 installments we introduced the rifle, ammo, suppressor & optics, while getting it zero'd for a baseline. In this video we start pushing it out to rifle distances, starting at 100 yards. We also start to gather data on how true the projectiles are flying. We're running a very short barrel and several people had asked if the rifling was enough to stabilize those big 750 Grain A-Max bullets.
