Wall of text but hear me our. Ok so this mission is actually quite interesting tactics-wise. You are giga timegated by the bonus NPC making it first to the wezir, and then to the end. You are also timegated by making it to the NPC in the first place while carrying the scepter (anything worse than 0:45 seconds should be resign, and you want to cast SF and dwarven before entering his compass range so he is triggered late and does not turn around before you speak to him), and then by making it to the ship trigger point after the wezir cutscene.

Running from the gate post wezir trigger to the ship trigger takes ~47 seconds at best, and you need to double soh prior to that. From triggering the ship to the shipping being pathable and the mission ending, it takes exactly 3:00 minutes. Therefore, to finish in age 7, you need to talk to the wezir before 4:09 or so to have a shot, ideally a couple of seconds earlier (as 4:09+0:49+3:00+0:01= ~7:59).

Now there are two more final pieces to the puzzle. The first is that the wezir needs to stay alive (which you can achieve by skipping one of his trigger points initally, and then teleporting him there after the ship is triggered so he is safe. The second is, that after the wezir cutscene, the bonus NPC will not continue to follow the scepter (as you no longer have it), but path to the coordinates directly between all human players. Since one person needs to trigger the ship asap, the bonus NPC is pathing to terrible spots and gets stuck. You do not have enough time to group up with the other guy. While you are running to the ship, the bonus NPC is yapping anyways for 20 seconds or so, but you cannot waste much additional time as he needs ~2:25 to make it from the gate to the bonus spot and then an additional ~0:10 for the bonus to complete.

Therefore, the player triggering the ship needs to quit, so the spirit starts following only the other player right away, and the bonus can be completed before 7:50 to get into position for the ending cutscene trigger.
