सुरमईचं कालवण हे कोकणातील एक पारंपरिक आणि लोकप्रिय माशाचं कालवण आहे. नारळाच्या दाट रसात, खमंग मसाले, कोथिंबीर, हिरव्या मिरच्या आणि कांदा-लसूण-पांढरा व मसाल्याचा झणझणीत संगमने कालवण बनते.

1 cup Fresh Coconut (grated)
7-8 Black Peppercorns
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Rice (soaked in water)

2 tbsp Onion (chopped)
1 tbsp Tamarind Pulp
2-3 tsp Coconut Oil
2 tbsp Onion (chopped)
Water
Salt
