My grandpa, the actor who played Burnett Stone in my film, passed away on Christmas Eve this year. He was 84 years old and had been suffering from increasingly debilitating dementia over the past few years. He was the one grandparent I really had a strong relationship with (I mean, he agreed to act in my movie for 3 years), and I got to visit with him 2 weeks ago in person so I'm still very shaken. This first rough assembly of the Parody features many of his little unseen moments and bits tightened up in later drafts.
