Day 025 - Simpson Desert via the Madigan line. From camp 1A to camp 8

This adventure took place in the latter half of 2024. Come with me on a zig-zag tour of the country. An inside lap, an outside lap, the inner and outer corners, the extremities, the highs and the lows, the good roads, the bad roads and sometimes not even any roads at all, like today!

Today is all about the Madigan line.
I got to just a bit past camp 1A yesterday and make my way to just past camp 8 today.
I skipped camp 2, as it’s a sacred site. Camps 3 & 4 are inaccessible and on private property.
Camp 5 is on aboriginal land, but I ended up there anyway, unfortunately.
