Dr. Scott Hahn (b. 1957) is a prominent American Catholic theologian, apologist, and biblical scholar. A former Presbyterian minister, he converted to Catholicism in 1986, an experience chronicled in his bestselling book Rome Sweet Home (co-authored with his wife, Kimberly).
He holds a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Marquette University and is the Father Michael Scanlan Chair of Biblical Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he founded the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology.
Dr Hahn is known for his work on covenant theology, the biblical basis of Catholic doctrine, and the unity of Scripture. His popular books include
The Lamb’s Supper, Hail,
Holy Queen, and
A Father Who Keeps His Promises.
He has significantly influenced contemporary Catholic biblical renewal.
