After a while resting my ass off for several months (haha, actually I was pretty busy with a lot of stuff), this is my new cover!! :D
A song from a band Ive never played before in my videos.
Detroit Rock City, off the Destroyer album (1976).
KISS, Keep It Simple, Stupid! is that right, or what? This is a pretty basic song, but man, it ROCKS!!! xD
Here I used my Epiphone Les Paul for the left channel guitar, and my Gibson Les Paul Junior for the right channel guitar. For the backing track I used a pretty decent one with no guitars at all, it contains only bass, drums and vocals.
These are the amp settings, in case youre interested:
Marshall MA50c tube amp with Celestion Vintage 30 speaker, mic'd with a Shure SM57.
For the rhythm parts:
OD Channel + Boost
Bass 3, Mids 10, Treble 10, Drive 1, Resonance 5, Presence 5.
For the lead parts:
OD Channel + Boost
Bass 3, Mids 10, Treble 5, Drive 3, Resonance 5, Presence 5.
Pitch Shifting effect for 1 octave up effect from a Zoom G3x effects pedal (connected on the effects loop of the amp).
