2024 Brighter Futures Richmond Tutoring Program

Brighter Futures Tutoring Program is one of AVWA’s most impactful programs.

During school term on Tuesday afternoons, primary school children from vulnerable families around the Richmond area have the opportunity to connect with mentors from Melbourne Girls’ College and St Kevin’s College, participating in a safe afterschool tutoring program.

The program has a proud 15-year history, and has had a resounding impact, not only for the children and their families, but also for the high school students who are learning valuable skills, and the broader community benefits also.
