Leo Kottke and Mike Gordon recorded "Rings" for their collaboration album Sixty Six Steps, that was released in 2005.
In 1971, "Rings" was a top 20 U.S. Pop hit in 1971 for the Memphis band Cymarron and a top 10 C&W hit for American country band Tompall & the Glaser Brothers.
In 1974, the singer Lobo (Roland Kent LaVoie) recorded a version that appeared on his 1974 album Just a Singer.
