Gran Turismo: Cars Never Seen Again | PS2 Edition Vol.#1

Hello there, it was time that I talked about the PS2 Gran Turismos and their forgotten cars. I wanted to give Gran Turismo 2 a break as I figured covering that game on this subject could get tiring.

Anyway, I really wanted to focus on some cars from this era as they were quite interesting. This is just the first volume and I think there will be more.

Notes:
I didn't initially intend on putting both Evo. VIIs in this video, but I figured there would be a better flow if I knocked both of them out anyway.
Because I used both Evo. VIIs, I felt including the FTO LM Race Car from GT3 would've been overdoing it on Mitsubishis. So, I'll save that for the next video.
The Ford Model T indeed was an odd one out on this video, but I figured its importance as a car meant it should've been included. I always liked it anyway.
Yes, I have an Uncle that once owned a Model T that he hotrodded. or a T-Bucket they're usually called.
I guess Kazunori Yamauchi really favored Senna as a F1 driver, as he included 3 Senna based Formula GT cars in the NA version of GT3.
So, I put the F688/S on Cote D' Azur as a nod to Senna's driving on there. The only problem with that is that I never could drive a F1 car that well. It took several laps to just get around without hitting anything on this track.
As the real MP4/4 is in GT7, I don't think the F688/S will come back anytime soon. Unless PD runs into licensing trouble with Mclaren *knocks on wood*.
Correction: The F688/M is the prize car for Cote D' Azur's endurance race in GT3, not the F688/S. The F688/S is won on Rome. I also neglected to mention it being a prize car in the Roadster race and it being a prize car for completing every race in simulation mode.
Since I'm talking about the F688/S, I once again want to mention that I just focused on Senna for that entry as it's based on his Mclaren, but not Alain Prost's Mclaren.
With that said, I want to let people know I didn't look over another detail on the Mclaren MP4/4. That between Senna and Prost, that car was ultimately dominate in 1988. As a team, the 2 together won almost every race that year with the only exception being Italy.
I'm also aware a bit of their rivalry, though I didn't want to dig into that since I'm trying to just focus on the cars more so than the drivers.
I'm being extra particular about this list, it has to include cars not seen since the PS2 games (counting PSP aswell). So, no cars found in the PS3 games okay?
