Proud Mary Bass Line (Piano Tutorial)

In this quick and easy piano tutorial we learn the fun, jazzy bass line for the song Proud Mary as made famous by Ike and Tina Turner. This song was originally done by the band Credence Clearwater Revival (CCR). This is the perfect lesson for a beginner piano player! A great bass line makes this the perfect piano song to take your playing to the next level!

We begin our lesson by learning the chords of the song. We then learn a simple bass line pattern we can use throughout the song. From here we venture into three unique bass lines which are used at different points in the song. This is a great terrific way to improve our left hand dexterity. Feel free to sprinkle these different bass line riffs throughout your playing and make the song your own!
