I'm so fortunate to have had the chance to shoot this Original road legal Ford GT40 MK1. Fords entire performance program came from the GT winning at Le Mans and beating Ferrari in 1966. If Ford had not crated this car we may not have even seen cars like the Focus RS or rally RS200. This car was the base of one of the fastest race teams in the world.
This specific one is chassis number: p/2180
the car was signed by Dan Gurney.
it has a 408 with a 8 stack fuel injection. This is when racing was only man and machine.
