Hello Friends and welcome back to another art studio vlog.
I think many of us would like to paint looser. I know I do. Working loosely is actually quite hard. The key to working loose is to begin loose and not rush to the finish line. I know it sounds pretty obvious but I think we can rush to the end and then the brushstrokes tighten up pretty easily as we try to pull the painting together and resolve it.
So today's art vlog is about permission to play. About staying in play mode for as long as you can. This will allow your painting to be much freer and looser.
I am using the new acrylic paint colors I showed you in last week's art haul vlog. I'm thrilled with the result. I hope it inspires you to get painting and loose!
