Join us as we take my Jeep through the historic Naches Pass Trail near Greenwater, Washington—an old wagon route once used by early pioneers crossing the Cascade Mountains. This Jeep Badge of Honor trail offers a mix of rugged adventure and scenic beauty, winding through dense forests, rocky sections, and wide-open alpine meadows while tracing the footsteps of the 1853 Longmire wagon party. The first two sections and the final stretch were the most challenging, with technical climbs, rough terrain and tight trees, but the middle portions were pretty chill and perfect for soaking in the surroundings. Along the way, we explore the peaceful Government Meadows and visit the iconic Mike Urich Cabin, a legendary stop for off-roaders, snowmobilers, and Pacific Crest Trail hikers. It’s a true journey through history, nature, and one of Washington’s most iconic 4x4 trails.
