Remember the time Lionel put the Polar Express livery on a Milwaukee Road EP-2. Well, because of the situation that Pere Marquette 1225 is in for the Polar Express movie's 20th anniversary, I decided to turn that idea into a story where both engines coexist at the North Pole.
I was in Montana last summer, and as such came across much of the territory of the long extinct Milwaukee Road Pacific Extension, which has further inspired me to start making videos about the Milwaukee Road more than ever. From there this formed the idea to incorporate the story into Polar Express fan sequel inspired by the best of the book and film.
Don't worry steam fans because PM 1225 will still be in this special, and under steam for more than a few seconds.
I was aware this could create a buzz but hey, why not give it a shot before I just go back to my regular facts-based content.
