manbily kindly sent me there tripod to take an unbiased look at there carbon fibre tripod.

first up was the bh-u3 ball head clamp.
weighty but well made clamp-finished in a matt black anodized finish.
particular love the fine tune feature on the clamp-being able to rotate the rifle while clamped 360 degrees is a great touch.

44lb load capacity will withstand most rifle setups.

45 degree rifle tilt-instantly lock the rifle in any position.

clamping range is good-closed 25mm to fully opened 80mm .

really well made-engineered clamp-feels quality.

like most carbon fibre tripods the manbily is compact-lightweight when fully folded.

interchangeable feet,swap out the rubber feet for the 3 supplied stainless steel spikes-ideal for soft ground.

8 layer carbon fibre legs.

4 leg sections-3 adjustable legs-low-medium and high.

total height when fully extended 63.6 inch-minimum height 11.6 inch.

quarter turn locking legs work excellent-silent in use- ideal for static shooting.

overall quality of the ball head and tripod is excellent-really affordable well made tripod-hunting set up.

any negatives-just two.
like i said in the video 1st niggle is not unique to the manbily tripod-but having some sort of guide lines on the lower legs-making the height adjustment of the legs more accurate would be great.
takes the guesswork out when extending the legs and gaiging the height.

2nd niggle-the carrying case-when the bh-u3 clamp is fitted to the tripod,it simply wont fit in the supplied case.
minor niggle i know.

overall a cracking tripod set up from manbily-either hunting or target shooting these are an affordable well engineered tripod.

currently the tripod is being used and abused out in the field to see how they fair-stay tuned for the final thoughts video coming soon.
