In February 2024, Trøndelag was hit by the extreme weather phenomenon “Ingunn”, which caused widespread destruction and chaos. The storm brought winds of over 40 m/s to several locations along the coast, and the ferry service between Brekstad and Valset was occasionally cancelled.
The storm "Ingunn" was officially over when this video was filmed ( 3 February), but this was the strongest wind recorded at Ørland during the extreme weather associated with the storm "Ingunn".
