Hobi Says Something Out Of Character And Jin Loves It | BTS j-hope Embarrasses Members With Awkward Comment But Gets Support From Seokjin

Hobi may have reached superstardom but he remained humble. And people from his past can attest to this.

Despite their worldwide success, BTS kept their feet on the ground.
They are not called the “Humble Kings” for nothing.

BTS's "Humble Kings" status is very well established. So when Hobi commented something that seemed to flex the group’s status, his members were embarrassed by him. In Run BTS! Episode 114, the Korean League Of Legends team T1 was invited to play games with BTS. Being gamers themselves, BTS was heavily fanboying over their guests.

BTS acknowledged Team T1's professional status in the gaming world. But when they were called the "world stars" of League Of Legends, Hobi said something out of character. Since the team T1 was called “the world stars of League Of Legends,” Hobi pointed out that they are “The BTS of the game world." Yep. One of the “Humble Kings” just called his group the “world stars.”

Although Hobi was technically telling the truth, his comment didn't fit their "Humble Kings" title. BTS was so embarrassed that they called Hobi out for it. Hobi tried to explain himself but they shut him down except for Jin. Jin seemed to enjoy Hobi's enthusiasm and encouraged him to be as silly as he wanted. BTS appeared to have accepted the fanboy effect on Hobi, but Yoongi was still embarrassed.

Hobi, who is always bubbly and energetic, was extra hyper in this episode. He was clearly excited about having the League Of Legends team T1 on the show. Hobi easily bonded with his fellow "world stars."
You see, Hobi is also a fanboy and forgets his status when meeting his idols and one of his best fanboy moments was meeting J. Cole. The pair eventually collaborated and started a friendship. But unlike his moment with T1, Hobi didn't get to flex his "world star" status lol.

I don't blame BTS for being surprised by Hobi's flex since he's not even good with taking compliments. What's not to adore about Hobi though? He's the total Idol package.
