FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge is dedicated to “making Blue Ridge communities better.” One way we do this is celebrating our cultural uniqueness through music and art. In 2024, in partnership with the historic Glencoe Mansion & Museum in Radford, Virginia, to launch “The Glencoe Sessions” featuring an intimate listening room experience with musicians from the region.
The Glencoe Sessions, which were later broadcast on Blue Ridge PBS, included:
Sept. 6, 2024: Jim Lloyd
Oct 5., 2024: Pythagoras
Nov.1, 2024: Earl White
Dec 6., 2024: Addie Levy and Domino
