Wat Pho the Temple of the Reclining Buddha — is one of Bangkok’s most sacred and peaceful places.
I’ve lived in Thailand for six years, and though I’m a Christian, I’ve always been curious about Buddhism not to compare, but to understand and respect.
In this slow day in Bangkok, I walk through Wat Pho with a Buddhist philosopher who has served here for over 40 years. Together, we explore the meaning behind the Reclining Buddha, the temple’s quiet rituals, and the questions that arise when faith and culture meet.
As a child of God, I believe we can learn about other religions with humility but still hold firm to our beliefs and boundaries.
This video is not about debate, but about understanding, peace, and the beauty of quiet reflection.
