PS3 Undervolting is a MUST!!! (Sherwood Syscon) + Power Consumption & Temps Test By:NSC

Hi Guys :)
Just for you to understand, normally the CELL runs with about 1.20-1.25 volts and the RSX with about 1.30-1.35 volts, it depends the PS3 Model, condition from the NecTokins, your multimeter and stuff like that.

Me and other people proved that the standard voltage is just to high and not really need because it causes extremly overheating problems and this is just unnecessary...

With other words, your PS3 is able to run also with lower voltage and also way cooler, this made my PS3 running about min. 10°C Cooler and the fan speed got lower too!

Command codes for Sherwood Syscon:
Read CELL: r 50 01
Read RSX : r 51 01

Write to CELL: w 50 [your value]
Write to RSX : w 51 [your value]

If you have the same model like in this Video, you can probably try my settings:
CELL 0.86250v [75]
RSX 0.84375v [78]
To be very sure without testing around just set both to 0.90000 volt [6F] Should work fine.

On the PS3 Slim CECH-200x models you can "try" to go directly to 0.9000v on the CELL and RSX [6F]

On the "Super Slim" you can also "try" 0.9000v on both chips, should work without problems on every Super Slim! [6F]

All this voltages was tested on normal Firmwares (CFWs) "without overclock"

Don't forget to fix the checksum after every change, address on sherwood syscon is:
7fe Just do it like i show in the video.
