Maybe it's only a world record because there appear to be no other runs out there (as of January 6, 2020), but whatever. There's plenty of room for improvement: with good enough RNG, a sub 45-minute run seems quite reasonable.

While my execution was sloppy at times, for most of the run it was good enough. The RNG was good but not great: there were no money floors (generally considered the slowest type of floor) and I picked up the key to the rare ghosts' room less than 20 seconds into floor 5; but there were also no crow floors (generally considered the fastest type of floor), not many convenient hidden treasure rooms (I only entered a treasure room in floors 1 and 9), and the Bomb Hammers I had to capture on floor 5 are possibly the worst rare ghosts to face in a time crunch.
