We start at the former Capital Power Plant on the south bank of the Yangtze, pass by an ecological porpoise viewing area, an old naval hospital, the ruins of Asia’s first railway ferry pier, Xiaguan Railway Theme Park, and end at the glass walkway and pavilion beside the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge.

Capital Power Plant was one of Nanjing’s key power plants during the Republic of China era, now turned into a riverside heritage park.
The railway ferry pier here was once the southern terminal of Asia’s first railway ferry, before the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge opened.
Xiaguan area used to be a major hub connecting river, railway and road traffic for Nanjing.
