Manual travelling vs. Motorized travelling & Crane Rotating
Steel gantry crane, manual or motorized travelling?
For portable steel gantry crane travelling, they can be designed with manual travelling and motorized travelling.
For manual travelling,
it is not allowed to move the small gantry crane under loading.
It is usually used for light loads handling with capacity no larger than 5 ton.
For motorized travelling,
the portable steel gantry cranes can be equipped with motor on the gantry crane which can enable the gantry crane travelling efficiently.
The motorized travelling portable gantry are used for heavy loads handling with capacity up to 10 ton, with customized design, the capacity can be up to 20 ton.
As for crane rotating, there are mainly two types for your selection:
1)The motorized steel gantry crane can be designed to rotate with the center of the main girder as the center of circle. With this type of rotating design, the steel gantry crane can be used in confined space workshops to enable rotating possible and easy.
2)The electric steel gantry crane can be developed to rotate with one side of the leg as the center of circle. Compared with the mentioned type, this type is widely used for large workshop or garage.
3)As for manual travelling steel gantry crane, it is equipped with universal wheels,it can be rotated by your hands, with the one supporting leg as the center of the circle.
