Wilhelm Kempff playing the Moonlight Sonata. Not my favourite version, as I think he played it somehow softly, but still very good. Recorded in 1965.

Pro-Ject RPM 5.1 SE turntable with a 3mm thick felt mat;
Denon DL-110 cartridge;
Fred Nachbaur High Precision Tube Phono preamp (self built), fitted with NOS Philips Miniwatt Tubes, Russian K40y9 PIO caps, Russian K72 Teflon caps, and Intertechnik Audyn Cap Plus caps;
Nuova Elettronica FET (solid state) preamp for subsonic frequencies removal, fitted with Russian K40y9 PIO caps and Intertechnik Audyn Cap Plus caps;
Tascam US-122 MKII audio interface.
Audio recorded at 96 kHz/24 bit with Audacity and encoded as FLAC with Openshot video editor.
