Lepe ROC Post (Stone Point Bunker): ROC Observer Interview

** Correction ** In the video I mention that the Lepe ROC post is available for tours and open days. I have since learned this is not the case, so apologies for my mistake.

Stephen Hall was a ROC observer at Lepe Country Park from 1987 to 1991. He kindly let me interview him about his time serving in the hidden underground Lepe beach bunker overlooking the Solent.

I spoke to him on Zoom and he told me some great stories about being on exercise at the Lepe ROC Post (aka Stone Point) and bemused locals and tourists looking on. Plus details on the nuclear threat they monitored for... lots of great stories about the time.
