When 17-year-old Christina Pal and her roommate Sonia Larson were found brutally murdered, police knew they were dealing with something far worse than a typical homicide. The scene was shocking: bodies showed signs of bondage, sexual assault, and post-mortem mutilation, hinting at a killer who was organized and challenging law enforcement. Two days later, a third victim, Christa Hoy, was found decapitated and posed in a grotesque manner, confirming the city's worst fears: a serial killer was loose. As a massive task force rushed to catch the suspect, two more students, Tracy Paulace and Manuel Tabota, were murdered. The entire community was paralyzed by fear.
