Children love stories and they love being scared. We as parents need to utilize the power of storytelling more often to teach lessons.
For example, the Inuit people use fantastical, scary stories to teach their children not to get too close to the water or to watch out for polar bears. Because of these stories, children can roam freely and parents can trust that they'll be safe.
In this video, I talk with Michaeleen in depth about these stories and how they have helped us raise our children.
