Windy City Trioは、バンドWindy Cityの主要メンバー3人
ドラムのキム・バンジャン、パーカッションのカン・テクヒョン、キーボードのパク・ヒョンシクによって構成されたミニマルな編成のユニット。 シンプルな構成ながらもレゲエやアフロビートの深いグルーヴを繊細に奏でます。
終戦80周年。橋の下への出演を通じて、日韓両国の平和と文化交流がより一層深まることを心より願い、音楽を通して三人は国境を越えて想いを分かち合い、息を合わせています。

Windy City Trio는 밴드 Windy City의 주요 멤버 3명인 드럼의 김반장, 퍼커션의 강태형, 키보드의 박현식으로 구성된 미니멀 편성의 유닛입니다. 단순한 구성임에도 레게와 아프로비트의 깊은 그루브를 섬세하게 연주합니다.
종전 80주년을 맞아, 다리 아래(Hashi no Shita) 공연을 통해 한일 양국의 평화와 문화 교류가 한층 더 깊어지기를 진심으로 바라며, 음악을 통해 세 사람은 국경을 넘어 마음을 나누고 호흡을 맞추고 있습니다.
이번 공연에는 게스트로 KIM AESU a.k.a 永山愛樹가 참여했습니다.

Windy City Trio is a compact unit formed by three core members of the band Windy City:
Kim Ban-jang on drums, Kang Taek-hyun on percussion, and Park Hyun-sik on keyboards.
With a minimal setup, they delicately weave deep grooves of reggae and Afrobeat.
Their performance at Hashinoshita Matsuri (Soul Beat Asia 2025) , held in commemoration of the 80th of the end of World War II, reflects a sincere wish for continued peace and vibrant cultural exchange between Korea and Japan. Through music, the trio shares their heartfelt connection and harmony across borders.

This stage was part of a peace and cultural exchange festival under the theme ‘STOP GENOCIDE.’ The background design is not related to the Japanese imperial war flag; instead, the red hand symbol represents a strong anti-war and peace message.”
