New Orleans Housing Market Update 2022

Home Prices are historically high in the New Orleans Metro Area, as they are all around the United States. And you may be wondering, Will home prices drop? When will home prices drop? Will this market slow down? Is the housing market going to crash?

Home Prices are up nearly 16% in the New Orleans metro area and continuing to rise. But with Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve beginning the raising of interest rates, we should expect a slowing throughout 2022. Will the market completely stabilize? No, I don't think so, but I definitely believe we will begin to see home prices drop slowly throughout the year.
