It's about 45 years since the Lake froze over, and would you believe the amount of people going for a stroll on it? I haven't seen as many people on a summers days enjoying themselves. This is the area we call the Long Point. It was almost this cold when we were marched up from the National School to learn how to splash & float. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
