The latest 18m, life-sized Gundam statue(model RX-78F00) was unveiled today to the media, three weeks before the Gundam Factory Yokohama complex opens to the public on December 19.
This statue is a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the broadcasting of the "Mobile Suit Gundam" TV series.
The 15m-18m high observation decks will be open to visitors to have close-up views of the machine. The Gundam will have different poses every half hour and be lit up at night.
The admission fee will be about $15 for adults and an extra $30 to access the observation deck.
This attraction will stay open until March 31, 2022.
