WASBO recognizes Todd Hajewski (Baird) with the 2025 Tina Hafeman Friend of WASBO Award

The Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials (WASBO) was proud to recognize veteran service affiliate Todd Hajewski (Senior VP, Baird) as the recipient of the 2025 Tina Hafeman Friend of WASBO Award on Thursday, October 2, during WASBO’s 2025 FALL Conference at The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, Wis.

The purpose of the Tina Hafeman Friend of WASBO award is to recognize individuals who, by their words and deeds, have given special and noteworthy support to WASBO as it pursues the fulfillment of its mission: To provide professional development, to foster a network of support, and to advocate for funding that ensures outstanding educational opportunities for all children in Wisconsin. Tina Hafeman held positions as the WASBO Associate Executive Director and as the Accounting and Technology Coordinator, starting in 1994. Through her actions, Hafeman supported WASBO's vision and mission by encouraging member engagement throughout the organization. Hajewski is being recognized with WASBO’s Tina Hafeman Friend of WASBO Award for his extraordinary support, advocacy, and longstanding partnership with the school business community. Throughout his career, Hajewski has been deeply committed to advancing the mission of WASBO, providing mentorship, resources, and expertise to school business officials across the state. His active involvement in conferences and professional learning initiatives has strengthened the organization and enhanced the growth of countless members.

This honor carries with it a $500 donation made in the recipient’s name to a charity selected by the recipient that benefits children in Wisconsin.
