During my law school days, I wished there were videos/lectures here in YouTube discussing the cases assigned by my professors because I am a visual and an auditory learner. Thus, I created this video, which I call "eJurisdprudence", which, like an audio book, reads the full text of the case, and structure it like a case digest: facts, issue, and ruling.
DISCLAIMER: Although I said that this video reads the full text of the case, you would observe that, if you read the full text of the case, I omitted some parts thereof to simplify its presentation for anyone to easily understand it. So, it be better to still read the full text of the case, and just use this video as a guide for your better learning.
*if an advertisement interrupts the video, please kindly don't skip it. It would encourage me to keep making videos, and hopefully, make better video lectures later on.
Discussions:
05:01 Does the Lambino Group’s initiative petition comply with Section 2, Article XVII of the Constitution on amendments to the Constitution through a people’s initiative?
18:57 Are the Lambino Group’s proposed “amendments” to the Constitution, changing the present Bicameral-Presidential system to a Unicameral-Parliamentary form of government, allowed under Section 2, Article XVII of the Constitution?
31:13 Should the Supreme Court revisit its ruling in the Santiago case declaring Republic Act No. 6735 “incomplete, inadequate or wanting in essential terms and conditions” to implement the initiative clause on proposals to amend the Constitution?
