On May 12, 2025, the day of the national elections in the Philippines, the celebration of the Solemnity of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados de Manila, the Patroness of the District of Santa Ana in Manila City, still took place with great devotion. Despite the busy day, the faithful gathered to honor the Blessed Virgin. On her feast day, Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados de Manila became a symbol of hope and new opportunities for all the people of Manila, through the blessings and graces she continues to bestow upon her devotees and the faithful.
