By way of his birthplace Philadelphia and Chicago, where he was trained, Ben Paterson has quietly been making a name for himself in the Big Apple playing with the likes of the Legendary Johnny O'Neal and a slew of Jazz vocalists. Ben is a fantastic organist and pianist and perhaps one of the best accompanists around town for vocalists. His current CD release, Essential Elements on the MaxJazz label has received critical acclaim and he plans to release an Organ album in 2014. Here he takes on Stevie Wonder's "For Once In My Life" written by Ron Miller.
