I hiked the Sealy Tarns Track on May 22, 2023 and what a great experience it was! I left Lake Tekapo at 8am, arriving at the White Horse Hill campground in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park at just after 9am. I started the hike at about 9.20am and was back at the carpark by approximately 12pm. According to Strava it was a 7.22km hike with 550m of elevation. The temperature was 2ºC (feels like temp of -1ºC) and humidity of 88%. Well worth the effort for the amazing scenery and view!
