A double speed tutorial of this beautiful fairy ornament is an intermediate make that will help build your ceramic making skills. Sitting on a pinch pot flower bud this fairy is modelled in clay which will be dried and fired in a kiln before being glazed and fired again.
I take you through each step of the process but you may need to pause if you're making along with the video. The key is to take your time and listen to the clay to make sure it's at the right point for each step.
You can have fun with this and change any elements to make it your own - sitting on a mushroom, different skirt, butterfly wings...just let your imagination guide you.
