They said it was a cold air intake… but it’s just sucking hot air off the header.
In this episode, we’re calling out the fake “cold air intake” crowd—and building the real deal for our drift-spec Karmann Ghia.

We kick things off by roasting the typical hot-air setups you see all over the internet, then get to work: designing and 3D printing a custom airbox to actually deliver cool, fresh air where it counts. Along the way, we relocate the fuel cell to the rear of the car to clear up engine bay space, improve weight distribution, and make room for the intake setup.

This is more than just a bolt-on part—we’re talking real airflow gains, better packaging, and some good old-fashioned DIY engineering.
