Explained: Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Act, 2019 (UAPA)

In August 2019, Parliament approved amendments to the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act or UAPA. The amendment, inter alia, empowers the central government to categorize an individual as a terrorist. This lecture explains all the amendments in detail.
