President Donald Trump addressed a joint session of Congress, praising his administration's accomplishments in the first six weeks of his second term and outlining his agenda for the rest of his term.

"Get ready for an incredible future because the golden age of America has only just begun," he said. "It will be like nothing that has ever been seen before."

During his address Tuesday, Trump pledged to end the war in Ukraine and reshape the nation's economy and immigration policy. He also touted his administration's work so far in transforming the size of the federal government, praising Elon Musk for leading the effort.

Many Democrats protested silently with signs and T-shirts during Trump's record-long joint address to Congress that ran about an hour and 40 minutes. But at one point early in the speech, Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas stood up to yell in protest and was removed from the chamber.
