The 10 US Naval Vessels that will be Decommission this year in 2026

Many new U.S. naval vessels will enter service in 2026—and we’ve already covered that in a previous video. But alongside these arrivals, several long-serving ships will be decommissioned and quietly leave the fleet. Some of these vessels played significant roles across decades of operations and deployments. I believe many officers and sailors who served aboard them, past or present, will miss them deeply. They will no longer be part of today’s U.S. Navy—but they will always be remembered in the hearts of those who sailed on them.
