The LEGENDARY 1808 Beethoven Concert: How FAST did the composer actually play?

On December 22 of the year 1808, Beethoven gave an 'academia' concert, conducting and playing newly written music. It's on that occasion the 5th symphony was premiered, as was the 6th. But how did the music sound? That's hard to say, though we know that the event lasted about 4 hours. What does it say about the tempi for instance? This historic Beethoven concert is often used to "proof" the modern reading of our metronome marks correct. But is it? In this video, we will look at every detail, calculate durations based upon his (and other) metronome marks. And the result will surprise you.
if anything, this 1808 concert is in no way, shape or form compatible with the modern metronome reading. But it rather easily fits in the Whole Beat universe as I will show in this video.
