Being frozen in usually means slowing down, taking in the surroundings, and waiting for the big thaw — but not this week! With the bathroom renovation now well and truly underway, we waste no time getting stuck in, working away in the cosy confines of our widebeam boat.

As the snow begins to fall, Paul and Ernie treat us to a perfectly timed 6pm shepherd’s pie to keep us going. The bath gets run… but not without a hiccup — a leak makes an unexpected appearance!
