In this video I performed an off the bike bench test of the oil pump. I need to verify that the oil pump is pumping oil prior to reassembly of the engine. I was able to set it up and turn the pump shaft with a drill motor. It worked quite well. This test in no way measured the output of the oil pump. It only served to prove that the pump is pumping oil. Also, I will measure the oil pump stroke clearance after reassembling the engine, installing it, and real-time running it.
