My friend asked me to style this Ellen Wille HH lacefront. Sadly, when I went to do so, I saw the lace had ripped.
Necessity is the mother of invention and in that spirit I used hemming web (or webbing material used to hem a garment with heat), a curling iron, clear thread, straight pins, nude lace, and a wig head to overlay nude lace over the existing lace and meld the two lace materials with the heat of my curling wand to reinforce the tear. Then I shored up the tear with a few clear stictches.
Viola!
I also washed the wig and I can tell you that the webbing used to hem a garment does stick.
