TEDx came to town––United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland––on 11 December 2014.
TEDx PlaceDesNations delivered 13 presentations.
Having being part of the UN organizing committee (volunteer) and heard all presentations, Vincent Cochetel (UNHCR staff and former captive) dropped the dynamite.
Mr Cochetel brought the house down with this (featured) presentation!
Mr Cochetel, a UN staff, eloquently and emotionally (at times) told the world the core essence of what the United Nations does.
"We [United Nations] are not perfect. We are not the world's fire brigade. We do not stop wars. Yet we do what we do because 'One life, One Family, One Country Matters.'"
