They Refused Us To Enter The Temple Because We Are Foreigners 🇮🇳

Since we are still in Thrissur we wanted to visit the famous Sree Vadakkumnathan Temple at the town's center. I even went wearing my newest lungi but there was nothing that I could do. Rules seem to be differentin Kerala. Before, in Tamil Nadu they would let me into any Hindu temple there was, actually in all the other Indian states we visited there was no problem - unless maybe filming. But here there is no way they will let you in if you are a foreigner, respectively an non Hindu. Well, it is not entirely true as they did let me into the temple designated to lord Ganesha.... at least somehing. Here is our experience of that day.
