Liziba Station, station number 207, is located at No. 39 Liziba Main Street, Yuzhong District, Chongqing City. It is the first straddle-type monorail elevated station in China that coexists with commercial and residential buildings. Liziba Station started construction in 2000; completed in March 2004; started sightseeing on December 11, 2004; opened trial operation on June 18, 2005.

In 1998, the Chongqing government announced that it would build a rail transit line from the downtown area to Xinshan Village. The line planned to build a station at Liziba. At the same time, the construction plan of a residential building at the same location as Liziba was finalized. A difficult problem was faced by the rail transit company and the house builder. After repeated discussions, the two companies decided to build the building and the rail station at the same time and same location. In May of the same year, the design team was entrusted by the house builder to carry out The design and drawing drafts were changed at least 6 editions before the final design plan was finalized.

In 1999, in order to demonstrate that the design scheme had no impact on residential buildings such as noise and vibration, the design team entrusted a French architectural design consulting and analysis company, and the company sent a German engineer to Chongqing. Provided an analytical report on the feasibility of the design scheme.

Liziba Station covers an area of 3,100 square meters, with a construction area of 6,000 square meters. Each floor covers an area of about 3,500 square meters. The ceiling is about 3.6 meters high, and the length of the train crossing is 132 meters. The station does not borrow the load-bearing structure of the building. The six pile foundations supporting the train track beams are all 38 meters high and are directly piled into the ground foundation. There are more than 90 pile foundations in the building, each with a height of 69 meters. There is a safety distance of 20 cm between the root track beam pile foundation and the building construction.

There is currently no light rail in Chongqing's rail transit, only monorail and subway. Line 2 to which Liziba belongs is monorail.
